Single Blade Ceiling Fan I Put CFL Light Bulbs In A Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan With A Dimmer Switch, Now The Sockets Won't Work, Fan Does?

I put CFL light bulbs in a hampton bay ceiling fan with a dimmer switch, now the sockets won't work, fan does? - single blade ceiling fan

I left the CFL in a dark scene, not knowing it was a no, no. Later I realized it was dead, and that the room smelled electrical burning smell. The fan blades turn right, but still not one of the 4 shots of light now works. Is there a fuse in the interior of the white onion fan, or anyone how to solve this problem?

If you replace the "non-CFL bulbs and lamps with variable still does not work, I control intensity. It is likely that blew. Good luck in everything you do and God bless.

I note your comment that "It does not work as one of the 4 shots of light now, has tried to replace the compact fluorescent lamps. If that were the case, I hope that the regulator is disabled the compact fluorescent lighting is not adjustable. Burning smell is probably one of the components of the controller (probably a resistor) overheating or combustion.

Until now, the rest are spot on. CFL is not adjustable (most of what it is) dimmers are eaten for breakfast.

I think the good news (Hampton Bay is a Home Depot brand) is that you probably can go to your local Home Depot and get a replacement remote for about $ 30, which must be incorporated into your fan.
