Registration with the board of ophthalmologists and opticians, they provide information about the courses and exams to take.
Opticians experienced less than 2 years training as an optician at 1 January 2008 must complete the Advance Certificate in ophthalmology power output (ACOPOD) or certificate of progress and performance in order ophthalmic refraction (ACOPOD + R) to be eligible for registration.
