TV Broken: black box covers half the screen? - box covers scrabble wii
Whenever I turn on the TV, the screen displays correctly for a few seconds and then displays a black box that covers the entire lower half of the screen with the exception of one inch border around. When you unplug the DVD player and plug it into the screen is normal for two seconds, then the black box is back. I do not use other than the DVD. The TV is a Haier in 2002. Who knows what's going on with him and how can I solve this problem?

This is probably a white teletext subtitling. Check the menus on the television screen and make sure that legends and texts are turned off.
